Clinical Psychologist

Kate completed a Masters in Clinical Psychology at the university of Canberra in 2013 and has completed a further 2 years of supervised clinical practice to qualify as a clinical psychologist. Kate is able to provide therapy in Cantonese and Mandarin in addition to English.

Kate has worked extensively in the community and in the private sector. She has been providing psychotherapy in schools and private clinics for the past 4 years. She has conducted multiple seminars and parenting workshops in schools. She also provided group therapy sessions through organizations such as CatholicCare, CanTeen and Relationship Australia.

Kate specializes in the treatment of anxiety and trauma related disorders, ranging from emerging anxiety problems, bullying issues, to early childhood trauma. She believes in early interventions and she provides support to parents and school staff in the management of a young person. While Kate specializes in working with children and families, she also sees adult clients who are going through difficult life transitions.
